About This Blog

My real name is Mackenzie, but to most I am just Mac. 

I am just your average midwest girl, living in my own little world. 

I thought I wanted to stay 24 forever and then 25 decided to make its appearance and I have to say this has been the best year yet. 

I am slowly, but surely learning that God's all consuming love is what I need to set my focus on. 

I have always been a people person and have been told I am a good listener. 

I want this blog to be a place where I can share the stories and connections I have made with others, by taking the time to listen and realizing our stories aren't all that different.

If nothing else, we at least have this one thing in common... We are all human... humans that are imperfect.

There are a few things that I feel are worth mentioning to get to know me a little better.
The first thing is that I am unashamedly a follower of Jesus Christ.  This means that I strive to live my life in such a way that is pleasing to the Lord.  I fail daily, but because of His grace, I am able to brush off the dust and try again.
For me, living for Christ means loving my neighbor as myself.  You and I may not agree on everything, but I believe every one of us is a child of God, and because of that fact I will respect you and love you just as Jesus does to the best of my human ability.

The next thing you need to know is that I have THEE most amazing husband in the world. His name is Zach and God knew what he was doing when he brought our souls together.

Coffee.... OOOO i love me some coffee.  My perfect day always starts with a cup of coffee.
